This 7.7-mile stretch offers the best of both worlds—at times, you’re immersed in dense forest, shaded by towering pines, and moments later, you’re gliding through open dune landscapes, surrounded by sweeping sand hills. This leg of the journey lets you cover the most ground, offering a dynamic mix of scenery as you ride through the park’s diverse terrain. Finally, you’ll arrive at the iconic Dune Climb, a towering sand dune with breathtaking views over the entire Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.
